UCL Horizons
Presented by UCL200
For 200 years, UCL has challenged convention, advanced knowledge and shaped the future. On 2 December, we come together for one final moment as we mark the beginning of UCL’s third century.
UCL Horizons: afternoon session invites you on a journey of discovery through thought-provoking environments that bring research to life and showcase how UCL is transforming the world. Learn about AI's role in the future of health by becoming a virtual surgeon, journey through the myths and legends of the night sky beneath a canopy of stars and learn how to translate knowledge using different modes such as drawing, photography and 3D printing. Race against the clock with our Students’ Union as you tackle a series of immersive challenges that demonstrate the essential skills needed for community research, empowering students to make a lasting social impact and thrive beyond university. To fully experience the afternoon session, we recommend allowing around 60 minutes for your visit, but you're welcome to drop in for as long as you like.
But that’s not all. Shop for gifts at the UCL festive market, join a candle making workshop with the Institute of Making and delve into a series of fascinating exhibitions. We are delighted that our East Bank partners, V&A East and the London College of Fashion will lead exclusive workshops on examining treasures from the V&A collections and embroidering cyanotype prints.
As day turns to night, UCL Horizons: evening session builds towards an unforgettable finale. Find out more and book your tickets via the link below.
